Connect Postminion to Claude or ChatGPT

You need a Postminion account with an active subscription and at least one social account connected. There's no API key to paste.

Claude

  1. In Claude, open Settings → Customize → Connectors.
  2. Click + Add, then Add custom connector.
  3. Name it Postminion, paste the server URL, and click Continue.https://mcp.postminion.com/mcp
  4. Keep the recommended authentication settings, click Continue, then Add.
  5. Click Connect next to Postminion, sign in, and approve its permissions.
  6. In a chat, click +, open Connectors, and switch Postminion on.

Free plans can add one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner adds Postminion under Organization settings → Connectors first.

ChatGPT

Easiest: install the plugin

There's no MCP server to set up.

  1. In your browser, open Postminion's plugin page and install it.
  2. Follow the prompts to sign in to Postminion and approve its permissions.
  3. In a new chat, type @ and choose Postminion.

Or add a custom MCP server

  1. In ChatGPT on the web, open Plugins.
  2. Click Add, then Add custom MCP server.
  3. Name it Postminion. Under Connection, keep Server URL and paste the URL.https://mcp.postminion.com/mcp
  4. Keep Authentication set to OAuth.
  5. Tick I understand and want to continue, then click Create as a plugin.
  6. Review the tools, install the plugin, sign in to Postminion, and approve its permissions.
  7. In a new chat, type @ and choose Postminion.

Permissioned, visible, revocable

No Postminion API key is pasted into the client. The consent screen lists read, draft, scheduling, update, media, cancellation, and immediate-publish access separately. Access covers every social account in the workspace you approve, including ones you connect later.

The Agents page shows safe activity and lets you revoke one client immediately without signing you out or disconnecting social accounts.

Media and results behave honestly

Controlled imports

Remote media must use public HTTPS. Postminion blocks private destinations, caps downloads, sniffs the real type, normalizes files, and stores verified media under your ownership.

Validation stays read-only

validate_post checks URL shape and intent without downloading. Definitive media checks happen only in an authorized mutation.

Accepted is not published

Scheduling and immediate publish calls return an accepted Postminion state. Use get_post for per-account downstream outcomes.
